Yorkshire Carnegie bolster attacking options with double signing

Yorkshire Carnegie have bolstered their back line for next season with the signings of 24-year-old fly half Brendan Cope from Championship rivals Jersey Reds and scrum half JB Bruzulier, 25, from French club Nevers.

South African Cope has enjoyed a successful three-year spell at the Channel Islands club having previously played at Natal.

He has scored two tries this season and is the current top points scorer in this season’s British & Irish Cup.

Welshman Jean-Baptiste Bruzulier has experience in the Greene King IPA Championship having helped Worcester Warriors to promotion back in 2015.

He captained the Warriors in their British & Irish Cup triumph that season and played in both legs of the Championship play-off final win over Bristol.
