Yet another powerful second rower coming out of South Africa, Ruben de Villiers represented Western Province at youth level while at Paarl Boys' High.
de Villiers was then named in the SA Schools squad in 2015 before representing Western Province after school.
He was then named in the South Africa U20s World Cup in 2016 & 2017.
In 2018 he was included in the Stormers wider training squad for the 2018 Super Rugby squad.
