TMO adjudges it not to be a punch. Sharks set up a 5m lineout and a maul thereafter. Crusaders push them back but give a penalty away in the process. Sharks lose the forward metres from the tryline and the Crusaders counter attack which saw a number of great passes and good support. Mc Nicholl eventually gets tackled over the tryline in the corner.

Crusaders are on the attack on the Sharks 22m, Slade puts through a grubber which goes out 5m from the tryline. Sharks take it quickly and manage to clear the ball. Crusaders are on the counter and easily run it back into the Sharks 22 and win a lineout 10m out, Unrelenting pressure on the Sharks.
