I have never seen the term "emerging" in the rule book. When the ref calls it out. It is out #simples!!

The ref explained that law perfectly - if the ball is in a ruck or coming out of a ruck you can't dive on it.

But he called "ball out" meaning it was fair play, removing the offside line and surely discounting that law. A lot of confusion there and some grade A bulls**t
