Well done Ireland. Well deserved. Best team of the championship and most nail-biting finish. Love this team. Happy St Patricks Day all

Well that is all we time for and what a finale to this years 6 Nations with Ireland coming up on top and winning the championship with a hard fought 22-20 win over France in Paris. a tight first half with Ireland behind 13-12 at the break with Trimble and Sexton going over but the home side led at the break thanks to a brilliant try from Dulin. The second half began with Ireland getting their 3rd try of the game courtesy of Sexton who added a penalty to give Ireland a lead with 30 minutes remaining. France however did not give up without a fight and put it up to Ireland throughout and a try from Szarzewski in the 60th minute brought the French back into it and what followed was a nervy 20 minutes for Ireland to hold on. France were given the opportunity to go in front with 10 minutes to go however Doussain kick went right and wide as Ireland remained in front, and even when France eventually went over the try was disallowed for a forward pass from Pape as every Irish fan around the world was able to breath a sigh of relief. France turned over a late scrum but after a choke tackle from Henry the referee awarded Ireland the penalty and the match and effectively the Championship. A fairytale ending for O'Driscoll as he ends his Irish career with a win in Paris and a championship medal to go with it. After making his debut in 1999 he signs off in Paris as a champion and forever an Irish legend. Thanks for tuning into today's game and enjoy the rest of the weekend
