Fiji take a 7-3 lead over Georgia into halftime after a tightly contested half. Georgia failed to open the scoring with an early missed penalty attempt. Fiji then crossed for the games first try to lead 7-0 midway through the half. Georgia pulled three points back with a penalty just before the break to trail by four.
