The teams are out on the pitch ahead of kick-off

Good afternoon and welcome to our coverage of this European Champions Cup encounter between Glasgow and Montpellier from Scotstoun. Today's clash sees second play last in pool 4. Glasgow find themselves in tied second place and 5 points adrift of pool leaders Toulouse. A win this week is needed if they're to have any chance of qualifying as pool winners, backed up by a win away to Bath next week. The focus, though, will be on their French opposition today. Montpellier have struggled in this year's competition and are under-firing in the Top14 too under former South African World Cup winning coach, Jake White. They themselves will be playing for pride today but will have much to prove if they are to upset the odds. Glasgow are certainly in better form and will, undoubtedly, come out all-guns blazing to go in search of a try bonus point today. The weather in Glasgow is cold but dry and sunny for the moment. Ideal conditions for some open, running rugby. No doubt, a good game in store for fans and neutrals alike. Stay with us for live coverage and updates, kickoff is just a few minutes away.
