If you want to play without scrums, go and play touch. they play huge parts in positioning and are a huge confidence boost when a pack is coming out on top.

We need to put daylight between us and Italy now. unfortunate handling errors there before the end of the first half but I wouldn't be overly concerned. Italy are playing for their survival so the kitchen sink will be thrown at Ireland in the second half. fantastic try and great communication going on.

Half time at the Olympic park, and its Ireland who lead 10-6. Its been a tight match from the get go, with Italy more then just competitive, but really taking it to Ireland in attack. Only one try in the match so far, Henshaw offloading to Earls for a good score. Ireland will feel they have been on top, but this match is still very much in the balance. Stay with us for the second half.
