Irish in their 20th phase as they look for a gap in the Gloucester defence

Great intensity from both sides initially. Irish turn down a kick at goal to for the corner and drive for the line

Fantastic start for Irish as they show great patience to work through the phases and make 40 yards with nearly all players getting a touch of the ball in the opening minutes

Hello and welcome to Ultimate Rugby's live coverage as London Irish play host to Gloucester at Madejski Stadium for the 18th round of the Aviva Premiership. Irish currently sit at the bottom of the table with Gloucester in 7th place. Both teams have been on rocky form as of late, both winning only one of their last 4 games in the Premiership. The last time these teams lined up against each other back in December Gloucester came out on top so no doubt Irish will be looking throw everything at the visitors today. Stay tuned to see how it pans out!

Gloucester Rugby’s only victory in the last five rounds of Aviva Premiership Rugby was 24-17 at home to Leicester on 10 February. The Cherry & Whites have not won away from home in Premiership Rugby since a trip to Newcastle at the end of November.

London Irish’s two victories in Aviva Premiership Rugby this season were against Harlequins at Twickenham Stadium in round 1 and Worcester in their most recent game at Madejski Stadium in February
