Munster take a 6-0 lead over Harlequins into halftime. Munster opened the scoring with a penalty 13 minutes in to lead 3-0. Quins had two penalty attempts in quick succession around the half hour mark, but both went wide. Quins then thought they had scored, only for the TMO to rule out the try because of a forward pass. Quins then picked up a yellow card just before the break, but the resulting shot at goal from Munster went wide.
