Sarries 5 meters out. Wilson not rolling away and Sarries opt for the posts.

Good defence from the Falcons. Sarries fail to use it from the maul and the scrum is awarded to Newcastle.

Sarries now looking to build an attack. Hodgson sends a nice crooss field chip for Ellery to collect but he misses it marginally and Catterick carries into touch

Much of the same from both sides. Reluctance to play out wide and more kicking down each others throats.

Saracens not rolling away. Catterick kicks to touch.

Hodgson gets the second half underway!

Half time- Saracens go into the second half with a 10 point cushion. not a lot of action to report. Both teams employing the maul and kicking game. The maul has been used to great effect but as a result we have seen very little expansive rugby. It's been an evenly contested affair with the try from Newa Vunisa being the main difference. Stay tuned for second half updates.

Side entry from from Calum Green at the maul. Hodgson lines up the kick at goal.

Saracens pinged for collapsing the maul. Catterick finds touch just short of the Sarries 22.

After some aerial tennis it goes out for a Falcons line out at halfway.
