Yellow Card | 24'
That is shocking no way was that a penalty never mine a yellow. Their making rugby far to soft.
Mate it was definitely a penalty but don't think a yellow
Was a penalty. Not a yellow though
Should have been a red card
Eh no
No way ted
*red
Under the laws of the game that was a red card. Legs above the waist line (tip tackle) and dropped = red! See Sam Warburton for reference.
but Warburton's red was a shocking call!
Nik harries only if he's dropped on his neck or shoulders which he wasn't
He was dropped but only his arm stopped him from landing on his neck Gregor. Miles, Warburton call was correct and I'm Welsh. It was shocking as it was the first application of the new law which most folk, myself included, were unaware of.
Exactly he didn't land on his neck which is the reason it wasn't a red
No. Because when a player tip tackles and other player, the referee can't keep saying its legal when they don't land on their neck because more players will do it and eventually, somebody will land on their neck and get badly injured.
Exactly Ryan. If you take a players legs above the waist, you are responsible for bringing him to ground. If you drop him, regardless how he lands, the potential is there for a serious injury so it's a red.
