Go sharks!

Ultimate Rugby Mar 3

An exciting attacking spell by the Sharks culminates in the try. Sharks work the ball well, battering the Brumbies' defence. Cooper and Lambie prominent in the attack. Sharks earn a penalty advantage but choose to continue their threatening piece of play. Eventually its Kankowsi who powers over with the aid of some excellent footwork.

They just need one more try then I am happy

Thank god!

Some stern words from Sharks' coach John Plumtree may have spurred the South Africans into life. The Sharks are finally starting to string some phases together. Looks promising!

Bresler looks to have picked up a shoulder/elbow injury. Doesn't look too serious but he's unable to continue.

Ultimate Rugby Mar 3

Outstanding rugby by the Brumbies, whilst Sharks simply haven't turned up. The home team have been on the backfoot for the large majority of the half, and the scoreboard is a fair reflection of the match. Sharks will require something really special if they want to get back into this. Interestingly, Brumbies haven't conceded a single second half try this season...

Brumbies running riot here in Durban. Sharks awarded a scrum but surrender the ball to the Brumbie pack. The startled Sharks back-line caught out of position and are incapable of stifling the resulting Brumbie attack. Sharks look resigned. Complete lack of urgency, while Brumbies are playing magnificent rugby. Bonus point secured after 35 minutes.

Brumbies touch down for their third in 23 minutes. Again, they find themselves in the Shark's twenty-two. Forwards grind their way to within five metres and provide an excellent platform for the back-line. It's the flyhalf, Toomua, who picks an intelligent line and crashes over.
