Newcastle get themselves a penalty directly in front of the posts and opt for the corner instead of the posts. They are going for it now.

Stade get a penalty in a good position but the referee overturns the decision with Fillol penalised for a stamp on York. Clegg clears to halfway.

Not like morne steyn to miss so many kicks.

Clegg gets the second half underway.

Here comes the sides as they make their way back onto the field.

A very entertaining first half of Rugby with Stade Francais already scoring four tries as they lead The Falcons 24-14. The Falcons have been 2nd best for most of the game but were able to go over the whitewash twice after some poor defensive play from Stade. If Newcastle are to continue their 100% winning record in the competition they will have a lot of work to do in the 2nd half.

They destroy the Newcastle scrum with the referee in the end awarding a penalty try. Steyn adds the extras and Stade Francais lead 24-14 at the break.

oh steyn ! **** !

good

Stade push for the line but the Falcons do enough to prevent them from going over the line. The home side get the advantage with the penalty and opt for the 5 metre scrum in what will be the final play of the half.
