Welcome to the Toyota Stadium in Aichi for Wales vs Georgia in a Rugby World Cup, Pool D clash. Its been a great start to Rugby's Greatest Showpiece so far, and today should be all the same. Wales open their tournament on the back of a bumper few weeks, where they went no.1 in the World Rugby Rankings, only to enter the tournament at no.5. However they will still be one of the favored teams after winning the Six Nations this year, and will be looking to start with a big performance. Georgia enter the tournament with a sense of confidence, after seeing so many positive strides they have made as a rugby nation. Since the start of 2018, they have played 20 matches and have won 15. That's a very impressive record. However their recent encounters with Scotland was a cruel reminder of what it's like against Tier 1 nations and will be motivated to fix that. Georgia have never beaten a Tier 1 nation. Wales have met Georgia once before, in 2017, where they edged it 13-6. They will be hoping for a better showing today.
