'TOGETHER' - Players and staff post videos explaining what Worcester Warriors mean to them

The players and staff at Worcester Warriors have flooded social media this morning (Friday, 2 September) to explain what the club means to them.

 

HM Revenue & Customs froze the Warriors' finances in their pursuit of unpaid tax and it was only confirmed on Wednesday they would be able to meet the August payroll due that same day.

 
 

On Wednesday, the club released a statement that read: 'Worcester Warriors are pleased to confirm that funding was secured to fulfil players’ salaries for August and payment was set up today. Non-playing staff will also be paid a portion of their August salaries, with a solution to cover the remainder due in the coming days.

 

Owners Colin Goldring and Jason Whittingham have for the last two weeks been in discussions with several potential buyers in a bid to secure the future of the club.'

 
However, it seems that the players and staff are yet to be paid after they took to social media this morning posting videos explaining what the cub means to them and urging for the right thing to be done.
