12 Match Schedule Announced For Rugby Championship

he tournament is delighted to welcome back South Africa in 2021 which was unfortunately absent in 2020 due to the pandemic. With the Springboks absent a six-match Tri-Nations tournament between Argentina, Australia and New Zealand was played solely in Australia last year.
 
SANZAAR CEO, Brendan Morris, stated, “We have worked tirelessly with the National Unions through the continued difficulties associated with the pandemic. This includes ongoing international border travel restrictions, quarantine protocols and player welfare concerns. Therefore, we have been unable to roll out the previously agreed mini-tour format as we simply cannot play matches in Argentina at present due to the impact of the pandemic.“

The next match between the Springboks and All Blacks will be a significant one as it will be the 100th Test Match between the two sides and it will be played 100 years after the first ever game between the countries.
