20 Year Old Richie McCaw's All Black Debut Game

McCaw made his debut for the All Blacks on 17 November 2001 at Lansdowne Road in Dublin. The then 20 year old had big shoes to fill in the number 7 jersey, taking over from the legendary Josh Kronfeld.

McCaw had an impressive debut, his efforts on defence, especially, earning him the Man-of-the-Match award. 

It was a definite sign of things to come.
