7 Changes to Chiefs Starting XV for Super Rugby Quarter-Final

Chiefs head coach Colin Cooper has made 7 changes to his starting XV that beat the Hurricanes 28-24 last weekend.

All Blacks Charlie Ngatai, Nathan Harris, Damian McKenzie and Sam Cane all return to the starting XV after missing the clash last weekend, while fellow All Blacks Karl Tu'inkuafe and Liam Messam are promoted from the bench.

Sean Wainui replaces Toni Pulu on the right wing in the final change to the starting XV.

Cooper has also named a strong bench to face the Hurricanes at Westpac Stadium with Liam Polwart, Sam Prattley, Jesse Parete, Mitchell Karpik and Marty McKenzie all dropping out of the starting XV from last week to start off the bench.

Elsewhere Jeff Thwaites returns to the matchday 23 while Alex Nankivell and Te Toira Tahuriorangi complete the bench.
