A dream return to the Starting XV for Chris Farrell as Munster down Edinburgh
- 1680
Munster centre Chris Farrell enjoyed a fantastic game in his first start in the red of Munster for the 2018/19 season.
Farrell has been sidelined since his man of the match performance against Wales in the Six Nations in February this year. He made his return last week off the bench but starred in his first start of the season.
The 25-year-old made up for lost time as he ran in his first try of the season inside the first five minutes.

From there he was heavily involved in all everything Munster did as they raced into a 34-7 lead before the break.
He completed an excellent pass in the build-up to Conway's second try before he linked up with Mike Haley to set Keith Earls up.
It wasn't all out attack for the Irish International as he made some intelligent decisions on defence, especially when Edinburgh enjoyed an extended period of time.
In particular, he made a good read before the hour mark that snuffed out a dangerous Edinburgh attack out wide.
Farrell scored his second try of the evening in the closing stages of the game when he bulldozed Juan Pablo Socino off a lovely short ball by Tyler Bleyendaal before racing away to score.
His game was capped off when he was named man of the match.
His performance would have please Ireland head coach Joe Schmidt who was in attendance. The Ireland head coach already has a bit of a selection headache for his midfield but would welcome even more competition.
.@IrishRugby head coach Joe Schmidt will surely have been happy with @Munsterrugby's first-half tonight, three tries for Keith Earls, two for Andrew Conway and one for Chris Farrell! pic.twitter.com/LYWDEwIrSY
