Alex Giltrow pens professional deal

Tighthead prop Alex Giltrow has signed a professional contract with Bristol Rugby until the end of the 2017/18 campaign.

Every season I like to give a local player a chance to impress and Alex has come in and worked really hard,” said Head Coach Pat Lam.

“He’s been an excellent example of the quality within the Bristol combination and the coaching team have been pleased with the attitude Alex has shown.

“Now, the impetus is on Alex to keep progressing and to contribute to our goals for the campaign ahead.”

The 26 year-old made two appearances in August versus Harlequins and Bath before suffering a rib cartilage injury.
