All Black legend's sons' desire to wear the Green & Gold

All Black legend's sons' desire to wear the Green & Gold

Should legendary New Zealand centre Sonny Bill Williams’ sons follow in their father’s rugby footsteps, indications are that they may not be part of the All Black tradition, but have rather indicated a desire to wear the Green & Gold of the Springboks.

Williams married  Alana Raffie – a former South African model – in 2013 and the couple have 4 children together.

“Cape Town is my second home,” said Williams, according to the Ruck website.

“Maybe one day my two boys might be playing in Green and Gold. They’ve told me that’s what they’d like.

“They love the Springboks.”

Williams boasts 58 caps for New Zealand between 2010 and 2019. Regarded by many as one of the best and most innovative All Blacks of all time, it would be an ironic eventuality if his sons ever turned out for the All Blacks’ traditional arch rivals.
