Alun Wyn Jones: 'It is a job you do to make other people look good'

Last week, Dan Lydiate was asked about his team-mate at the Ospreys and Wales, Alun Wyn Jones.

"Relentless," he called him and proceeded to tell a tale from the training ground by way of illustration.

"If we have a drill, say, 50 yards away, he's always the first one there," Lydiate said.

"He doesn't want to be overtaken.

When you come in and start off, you think: 'I'll race him there'.

"But he always wants to win that and every time he races over to the first drill.

You are thinking to yourself 'It's only the warm-up!' But that's the kind of character he is.
