Andre Esterhuizen and Rebels scrum-half Nic Stirzaker hearings
Sharks centre Andre Esterhuizen and Rebels scrum-half Nic Stirzaker are both set for hearings after receiving red cards over the weekend.
Esterhuizen was cited for alleged foul play while Stirzaker received 2 yellow cards for deliberate knockdowns.
On Stirzaker citing, the SANZAAR Foul Play Review Committee said: "after considering a number of factors, including the effect of the Red Card both on the match and on the Player's team, and the Player being off the field for some 22 minutes for "technical" offences, that the Player’s ordering off merited no further sanction."
"The player is therefore free to play and will serve no additional suspension.”
Esterhuizen on the other hand is yet to appear before a SANZAAR Judicial Hearing.
