Andy Farrell and Dan Sheehan speak ahead of Force fixture

The British & Irish Lions are ready to kickoff their 2025 Tour of Australia after naming their squad to face the Western Force in their tour opener. Head coach Andy Farrell named Ireland and Leinster hooker Dan Sheehan as captain, along with four debutants expected to come off the bench. Speaking to the media, Farrell expressed his choice behind choosing Sheehan to lead the all-star team.

In their opening match against Los Pumas last week in Dublin, The Lions suffered a 24-28 victory, which left a bad taste in Farrells mouth as he expressed to the media.
