England’s Ben Te’o has been included in Sunwolves' preliminary squad ahead of the 2020 Super Rugby season, which is set to be their final season in the tournament.
The 32-year-old centre, who agreed a short-term deal with French club Toulon in August, will be joined by Tonga’s Onehunga Kaufusi and Australia’s Jake Schatz at the Tokyo-based club.
The Sunwolves also welcome back Georgian hooker Jaba Bregvadze and have confirmed that they will add more names to the squad once contract negotiations have been completed.
Former Sharks flyhalf Garth April has also been named in the 15-man squad.
The 28-year-old, who joined the Sharks in 2015, has been playing his rugby in the Japanese Top League with the Shining Arcs this year.
The Sunwolves begin their final Super Rugby campaign with a home match against the Melbourne Rebels in Fukuoka on Feb. 1.
