Brumbies prove too strong for fighting Force

The Brumbies were just too strong against the Western Force, as they moved back to the top of the log.

The first 20 minutes was rather quiet, despite Brumbies pressing.

A yellow card to Tavita Kuridrani then allowed the Brumbies to take control of the game.

They scored four tries thanks to two tries from Len Ikitau and one each from Cadeyrn Neville  & Andy Muirhead. Noah Lolesio  added all the extras and Brumbies went into halftime with a 28-0 score.


The second half was a different affair.

The Force came out fighting and scored first in the second half  as Henry Taefu went over from close range. Prior added the conversion.


Brumbies didn't allow that to change the course of the game and pressed on to score again and keep their margin when Lachlan Lonergan  went over. Lolesio added the extras.

When Harry Lloyd  received a yellow card, Force took control for the next 10 minutes.

Brumbies then wrapped up the game with 10 minutes to go as Andy Muirhead scorec his second of the game. Ryan Lonergan added the extras and wrapped up the victory.
