Bulls confirm Schalk Brits signing

The Bulls have also officially confirmed the signing of Springbok hooker Schalk Brits, who will be joining the team in Pretoria early in 2019.

Brits came out of retirement earlier this year to join the Springbok squad and came off the bench in the third Test against England at Newlands to earn his 11th cap.

The 37-year-old was part of the Bok squads for the Rugby Championship and end-of-year tour, but did not get any game time.

The Bulls have also announced the appointment of Alfonso Carl Meyer as the new Chief Executive Officer.

Meyer will officially start in his new role on 1 January 2019. This will allow the Loftus debutant a one month overlap period with incumbent CEO Barend van Graan.

He spent 10 years, between 1992 to 2002 as a Managing Partner at PwC Consulting Services, after which he became the Managing Director of IBM Business Consulting Services. Meyer currently serves as a Non-Executive director at First Rand Group.
