Campese inducted into IRB Hall of Fame

Australia legend and one of the great wingers of all-time David Campese has been officially inducted into the IRB Hall of Fame at a special ceremony ahead of Saturday’s South Africa v Australia Rugby Championship match in Cape Town.

Born in 1962, Campese grew up playing rugby league but, at the age of 16, he joined his local club, Queanbeyan Whites, and made an instant impact.

He went on to represent Australia Capital Territory, New South Wales, Australia Under 21 and Australia.

His precocious talent was rewarded early when he made his full international debut at the age of 19 again…
