Charlotte Caslick locked in with Rugby Australia until 2020

Australian Women’s Sevens player, Charlotte Caslick has committed to Rugby Australia and the Aussie 7s program for a further two years until the end of 2020.

One of the stars of the HSBC Sevens World Series, Caslick has won the World Rugby Women’s Sevens player of the year in 2016 and was a key part of Australia’s Gold Medal success at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

Australian Women’s Sevens Head Coach John Manenti said: “Charlotte is a World class player and is a part of the new wave of Women’s Rugby players that we are proud to be producing in Australia.

“Charlie is known for her brilliance in attack, speed, step and passing, but it’s been her defence and contact that has taken her game to new heights.

“In the last round of the Series in Paris and at the Sevens Rugby World Cup in San Francisco see topped the tournaments in tackles.

“Her work rate is not something the public see, but it’s the best of our squad and what puts her in the top players in the world.

“I’m looking forward to seeing Charlotte continue to grow as a Rugby player and reach new heights over the next two years.”
