Citizen Try of the Season Shortlist announced
Six stunning tries have been shortlisted for this season's Citizen Try of the Season award.
With 616 tries
scored in the 2015-16 Premiership Rugby Season, the judging panel
had a hard task but sensational scores by players from Harlequins,
Leicester Tigers, Northampton Saints, Sale Sharks and Worcester Warriors
have been chosen as the cream of the crop.
The Citizen Try of the Season shortlist is:
- Peter Betham, Leicester Tigers (v Gloucester Rugby in Round 19)
- Ross Chisholm, Harlequins (v Gloucester Rugby in Round 7)
- Sam James, Sale Sharks (v Northampton Saints in Round 3)
- George Pisi, Northampton Saints (v Gloucester Rugby in Round 22)
- Harry Thacker, Leicester Tigers (v Northampton Saints in Round 20)
- Cooper Vuna, Worcester Warriors (v Saracens in Round 22)
The winner will be announced on Wednesday 18 May at the sold out Premiership Rugby Awards at the Hilton, Park Lane.
