Clermont to sign John Hardie

Former Edinburgh and Scotland flanker John Hardie looks to have found a new club after flying to France and linking up with Top 14 side Clermont.

The 16-Test cap international will continue his rehabilitation with the club for the next two weeks following a back operation. 

Clermont already has Scotland International Greig Laidlaw on their books and Hardie could join Laidlaw at the club on a permanent deal.

The club will decide whether they want to sign Hardie after he has completed his two weeks of rehabilitation with the club.
