Bundee Aki - The deserved Man of the Match, Aki enjoyed the physical contest this afternoon and bulldozed his way across the Scarlets midfield at every opportunity.
The inside centre was instrumental in creating Tom Farell's opening score with a powerful carry and neat offload getting Connacht on the front foot. Aki always demonstrated his physical presence by winning two turnovers at the breakdown.
Jack Carty - The Athlone man gave an assured performance with a perfect 7/7 from the kicking tee along with winning the territorial battle against his counterpart Rhys Patchell.
By executing the better kicking game, Connacht enjoyed the majority of possession especially in the second half.
Denis Buckley - The loosehead prop put the squeeze on at scrum time yielding penalties and points for his side. Buckley carried well when given the task and acted as the 'secondary' scrum-half when Marmion was astray which ensured there was a constant flow and pace in the Connacht attack.
