Craig Willis signs for Ealing Trailfinders from Newcastle Falcons

Ealing Trailfinders have announced the signing of Craig Willis from Newcastle Falcons for the 2018-19 season.

The fly-half has been at Kingston Park since 2013 when he signed his first professional contract with the Falcons, and he has gone to make 38 appearances for the club.

His Premiership debut came against Saracens in 2015, and he then kicked the winning penalty against Bath just a month later as he familiarised himself with English rugby’s top tier.

“Despite being just 23 years old Craig has consistently played at the top level for a number of years,” commented Director of Rugby Ben Ward.

“We feel that he can continue to improve and with his undoubted quality he will be a top player for us in a very competitive position.”

Whilst also gaining valuable experience at the likes of Tynedale and Blaydon, Willis has scored a total of 113 points for Newcastle and is known as an expansive and attacking fly-half.
