Dan Carter's recovery going well

Dan Carter is still in line to make a return to rugby at some stage this year.

The All Black first five has been out with a broken leg which he suffered during the Crusaders loss in the Super Rugby final.

Assistant All Black coach Ian Foster is happy with how the recovery of the superboot it going.

"Dan's tracking really well.

I doubt we will see him in the Rugby Championship, but he's on track.

We'll see what happens in the next week or two.
