Dave Rennie confirms Aaron Cruden will not join Glasgow next season

Glasgow Warriors coach Dave Rennie says has confirmed that 50-cap All Black Aaron Cruden will not be joining the Scotstoun club next season.

There have been several speculations that Cruden would be moving to Scotland on a lucrative contract.

But Rennie says that is not the case.

“He’s not coming,” Rennie told the BBC. “There was a lot of speculation around Aaron and has been for a long period of time. I’m constantly talking to him. I know him well and we’re pretty close. I’d love him to join us. I think he’d be great around educating our young 10s, Adam [Hastings] and Brandon [Thomson], but he’s not coming.”

The 30-year-old was part of New Zealand’s 2011 Rugby World Cup winning side.
