Deysel gets sevens week ban

The Sanzar Duty Judicial Officer Nicholas Davidson QC has accepted a guilty plea from Jean Deysel of the Sharks for contravening Law 10.

4 (a) Punching or striking, after he was sent off following a Super Rugby match at the weekend.


Deysel has been suspended from all forms of the game for seven weeks up to and including Saturday 23 May 2015.


The incident occurred in the 42nd minute of the match between the Sharks and Crusaders played at Growthpoint KINGS PARK in Durban on 4 April 2015.
