Dundalk 22By Alan Deegan at Kirwan ParkOn a wintry wet afternoon in south county Dublin, Dundalk made a little bit of history on Saturday by grabbing a place in the Ulster Bank All Ireland League for the very first time.
A comprehensive 12 point victory over a gallant DLSP, who drop out of the AIL for the first time, completed a tremendous season of success for Ene Fa’Atau’s men who won the All Ireland Junior Cup to go along with the Leinster Div 1a title.
Both sides coped as well, if not better, with the conditions than the professional players…
