Dowson delivers Saints injury list ahead of clash with Newcastle

Phil Dowson is expecting Alex Mitchell and Alex Coles to be out for a considerable time due to injuries during the Six Nations.

Scrum-half Mitchell came off in the Ireland game and is expected to be out for weeks as opposed to a week.

On Coles, they are awaiting an opinion from a specialist as he has an ankle injury.

Saints already lost Edoardo Todaro for the rest of the season due to a knee injury obtained during Italy's preparations for the Six Nations.

George Hendy had to be assisted off the field during the Saints semi-final defeat at Exter Chiefs in the Premiership Rugby Cup earlier this month.

Josh Kemeny was off sfter failing a head injury assessment at Exeter. They are hopeful that he will be back either this week or next.

Ollie Sleightholme is back in training and Sam Graham will not be available for the next couple of weeks.
