Drotske retires from Cheetahs


Toyota Cheetahs head coach Naka Drotske will retire from rugby coaching at the end of the current season and hand over the reins to Franco Smith for next year’s Vodacom Super Rugby tournament.


After eight years as head coach of the Toyota Cheetahs, Naka Drotske has announced his retirement from rugby Friday.


Drotske, who spent his entire career as a Cheetahs player, will be remembered as one of the best players to come from the union, and worked as player, coach and administrator over two decades.
