Solid scrum work, getting around the park well. Tackling well too.

Brilliant in open play and at set piece, the pick of the front rankers on the day

Maro Itoje - 8

Massive in everything, taking Ireland's lineout apart. Dangerous in the rucks, hitting hard in defence

George Kruis - 7.5

Giving Ireland's lineout problems and got through an immense amount of work often unseen

Tom Curry - 8

Good over the ball, threw a great ball for Daly's try with an impressive work rate throughout the game

Sam Underhill - 8

Him and Curry were all over the Irish losse trio and players. Great combo that brought the desired effect

Billy Vunipola - 7

Makes metres and draws in defenders with every carry. Always needs to be watched and draws multiple players with and without the ball

Ben Youngs - 4

Not his greatest showing in the England 9 jumper and his usual accurate kicking game went on holiday today. With just two 9's in the England RWC squad, Youngs and Jones will be sweating after this performance

George Ford - 7.5

Some clever decisions with ball in hand and moved the Ireland pack around with some good kicks from hand. His combination with Farrell will cause a slight selection headache for Jones looking forward

Jonny May - 7

Exciting as usual and put the Ireland defence under pressure when he had ball in hand

Owen Farrell - 8

Class by the England captain as he and Ford swopped roles all game and manipulated the Ireland defence into compromising situations

Manu Tuilagi - 8.5

Brilliant showing by a man we would expect to see at 12 but is putting a great showing in at 13 and could secure that spot for the RWC

Joe Cokanasiga - 7.5

Big strong and fast. A player that runs great lines with soft hands. 

Elliot Daly - 7

Solid display by the England fullback who did well up against one of the best players in the world in Rob Kearney
