Fijian superstar set to leave Toulon at the end of the season

Fijian winger Josua Tuisova is set to leave Toulon at the end of the season and join Lyon on a four-year deal according to French broadcaster RMC Sport.

Tuisova has played a lot of his rugby in the midfield for Toulon this season and is set to leave the club despite having one-year left on his contract.

Lyon chased the Fijian's signature last season but failed to agree on compensation with Toulon to buy him out of his contract.

According to RMC Sport, Lyon will confirm the signing in the coming weeks with two clubs now coming to an agreement on the fee that must be paid to release Tuisova out of the final year of his contract.

The 25-year-old has made 19 appearances for Toulon and according to several sources, it is even now a certainty that he will leave the club and join Lyon on a four-year deal. The deal could see Lyon winger Alexis Palisson moving in the opposition direction.

Toulon will need to make a number of recruitments ahead of next season with Guilhem Guirado, François Trinh-Duc, Malakai Fekitoa, Xavier Chiocci, Eric Escande and Jean Monribot all confirmed departees.

Several players have also been asked to leave the club while Filipo Nakosi, Tuisova's brother, is reportedly in talks with Castres.
