Former Scotland U20 James Malcolm commits to London Scottish

London Scottish can confirm the second player who has signed with the Club ahead of the 2019/20 season.

Joining Lewis Wynne, who was announced last week, will be 24 year old hooker James Malcolm. Another Glasgow Warrior who amassed twenty five appearances during his time in Glasgow. For the 2018/19 season, like Lewis he has been on a season-long loan with fellow Greene King IPA Championship side Doncaster Knights.

The former Scotland Under 20 began his rugby career with Ayr and was part of the Scottish Rugby Elite Development Programme before signing his first pro deal with the Warriors in 2016. In February 2018, Malcolm was called up to the Scotland senior squad in preparation for the 2018 Six Nations.

The powerful hooker is already fairly well acquainted with the Club as he came to our 2019 Burns Supper as a guest of current players Lewis Wynne and Bobby Beattie. He will once again link up with Wynne ahead of next season.

Malcolm was enthusiastic to head down to London and to be signing with the Scots for next season.
