Four tries scored by Tommy Freeman secured the win for Northampton over Saracens. Saracens clawed their way back after 30mins to take a 19-17 lead at half time but in the second half the Saints picked up the tempo to secure a bonus point win!

 

Northampton had 56% possession and territory and made 719 meters on attack to Saracens 331. The home side made 16 clean breaks and Saracens 5. Saracens struggled with the flat runners of the Saints. Northampton made103 gainline carries and Saracens 56.

 

On defence, Saints won 6 turnovers and Saracens 7. Saints made 108/134 tackles and Saracens 153/181.

In the set pieces, Saints won 9/9 lineouts and 5/8 scrums and Saracens 15/18 lineouts and 8/8 scrums.
