France Name Rugby World Cup Squad

Jacques Brunel has confirmed France's 31-man Rugby World Cup squad.

Back rower Louis Picamoles will participate in his third World Cup having featured in 2011, 2015 and will retire from international rugby after the competition.

Picamoles has been preferred over Francois Cros who has missed out completely.

 The youthful squad also includes the likes of Gregory Alldritt, Demba Bamba, Peato Mauvaka, Thomas Ramos and Damian Penaud.

 
 
The likes of Anthony Belleau, Vincent Rattez, Dany Priso, Romain Taofifenua, François Cros and Félix Lambey have all missed out on the squad.
 
 

France will take on Argentina, England, Tonga and the United States in Pool C.
