If you had to pick one part of the game that was responsible for swinging it to a French win, you would say it was the bench. The second half was all France and the bench came on and made an impact, changing the momentum and swining the game in their favour. Tom Staniforth was immense when coming on against the country of his birth followed closely by the replacement front row of Lamothe, Poirot and Tatafu
