Franco Smith makes four alterations to face Scotland

Italy head coach Franco Smith has made four alterations to his starting XV to face Scotland in their final Six Nations match of 2021.

Ferico Ruzza comes into the second row for David Sisi who misses out on the 23 altogether while the only another change in the front row sees Marco Riccioni trade places with Giosue Zilocchi who drops to the bench.

Johan Meyer, Sebastian Negri and Michele Lamaro all make up the back row with Luca Bigi captaining the side in the #2 jersey.

Stephen Varney and Paolo Garbisi continue as the side's halfback while there is a change in the midfield with Carlo Canna dropping to the bench and Federico Mori coming in to start alongside Ignacio Brex.

Mattia Bellini and Monty Ioane start on the wings with Jacopo Trulla is replaced at fullback by Edoardo Padovani.

Gianmarco Lucchesi comes onto the bench replacing Oliviero Fabiani while Andrea Lovotti and Giosue Zilocchi providing further cover in the front row. Riccardo Favretto and Maxime Mbanda cover the second and back row while Marcello Violli, Carlo Canna and the returning Marco Zanon cover the back line.
