French international Melvyn Jaminet returns to Toulon!

The Rugby Club Toulonnais is pleased to announce the arrival of international fullback Melvyn Jaminet on the banks of the harbor until June 2028. 

Stade Toulousain, Rugby Club Toulonnais and Melvyn Jaminet have found common ground which satisfies them and which allows the latter to return to his training club.

Born in Hyères on June 30, 1999 (24 years old) , Melvyn studied at RCT, RC Vallée du Gapeau and RCHCC before joining the Perpignan training center in 2018.

From his first steps in the first team in Perpignan, he splashed his talent on the PRO D2 championship and allowed the USAP to be Champion of France and return to the TOP 14. Selected for the French team when he was not has so far only evolved in PRO D2, he has had very good performances with the Blues during the summer and autumn 2021 tours and during the 2022 VI Nations Tournament (he won the Grand Slam) .

In order to continue his progress, Melvyn Jaminet joined Stade Toulousain in the summer of 2022. He played 19 matches with the club from the pink city and won the title of Champion of France last June.

 A return home!

Thus, the international full-back will strengthen the Rouge & Noir squad this season and will share the full-back position in particular with Aymeric Luc and Marius Domon.

Melvyn Jaminet, known for his professionalism, will obviously bring all his talent as a restarter, scorer but also his Var DNA to the team for the end of the current season and during the next four seasons. 

He will join the Toulonnais group from Monday November 27, 2023.
