Gloucester gear up to face Newcastle

Gloucester-born-and-bred prop, Ciaran Knight, will become a Club centurion tomorrow evening, when he starts in Gloucester Rugby's penultimate regular game of the Gallagher Premiership season against Newcastle Falcons at Kingston Park.

Knight lines up alongside Jack Singleton and Kirill Gotovtsev, with Arthur Clark and Freddie Clarke packing down behind them.

Freddie Thomas replaces Jack Clement in the starting XV due to illness. Thomas joins Ruan Ackermann and captain, Lewis Ludlow, in the back row.

Tomos Williams and Gareth Anscombe will guide the team from half back, with Seb Atkinson and Chris Harris in the centre. Harris overcomes a minor knock that saw him leave the field early on in last weekend's defeat to Harlequins at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham.

There's a first Gallagher Premiership start for wing, Jack Cotgreave, who came off the bench to score at Twickenham last weekend. Cotgreave joins Christian Wade and Christian Wade in the back three.

Seb Blake, Jamal Ford-Robinson, Afo Fasogbon, Cam Jordan and Albert Tuisue cover the forwards positions on the bench, with Caolan Englefield, Charlie Atkinson and Will Butler in reserve for the backs.
