Great news for the All Blacks ahead of Bledisloe Cup
If ending the All Blacks’ 51-Test, 31-year unbeaten streak at Eden Park wasn’t hard enough, the Wallabies’ hopes of keeping the Bledisloe Cup dream alive for another week has got that much harder after four of Scott Robertson’s regulars returned to full fitness.
The under-pressure coach had a spring in his step on Monday afternoon in Auckland as he bounded into a press conference and announced that halfbacks Cam Roigard, Cortez Ratima, hooker Codie Taylor and lock Patrick Tuipulotu were back.
“It’s good to get a couple of halfbacks come our way,” Robertson said, having farewelled TJ Perenara last year, before experiencing an injury crisis at halfback following the July Tests against France.
